You will meet a variety of different characters throughout your journey in Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, some of which you will be able to actually romance with your protagonists. One of the characters you can romance with Yasuke is someone named Ibuki, who you can meet in the Iga region. This page will detail how to unlock Ibuki, as well as which answers to give to start the romance with them.
Ibuki is someone you can romance only when playing as Yasuke.
Unlocking Ibuki¶
To start, you will need to progress the main story until you unlock Yasuke, as Ibuki is only for him. This entails you completing the first two Onryo/Shinbakufu targets, The Golden Teppo and The Wounded. After doing those two, you will have a few more story quests until you can freely switch between Naoe and Yasuke. Once you have full control of Yasuke, you’ll need to travel to the Iga Region, located in the eastern part of the map.
Looking at the map, locate the Hijiyama sub-region and just south of its name will be Kashiwara Village. That is where you’ll meet Ibuki, for the Ambush Interrupted quest. Complete this to start their chain of quests, with Homecoming being second and Putting Down Roots for the third, and final, one. You have to do all three quests to get the romance option for Ibuki.
