After finally unlocking Yasuke as a playable character in Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, you will open up a few more targets on the Shinbakufu board. Two of these targets will have a prerequisite before you can go after them. This comes in the form a quest for Yasuke only, called Lady of Whispers. Your goal is to meet with Lady Nene, who might have some information on the targets you are hunting.
You will find Lady Nene in the Azuchi area of the Omi region.
Lady Nene Location¶
You can go to your objective board and look at the Yasuke quest section to see this mission, where you can track it. You get some good clues as to the location of Lady Nene, with the first one being that she’s in the Omi region. This is the large region in the northeastern portion of the map, with the large lake in the middle of it (Lake Biwa). You’re looking for the Azuchi sub-region, located on the southeastern side of the lake. The in-game clue mentions she’s at the castle in Azuchi, so that will be centered around the name on the map.
When you arrive in the Azuchi area, you will unlock a variety of locations, but the one you really want is the Hideyoshi Residence. Just going up the central stairs will reveal it on your map, so you don’t have to go out of your way. As you continue climbing the stairs, look out for an opening on the western side, which will be your destination. You’ll know it’s the correct place when enemies come after you, so make sure you’re prepared for battle.
(1 of 3) Look for this opening as you climb the stairs in Azuchi.
While none of the enemies should give you any trouble, they do have some numbers on their side, so you’ll want to concentrate on thinning their numbers. Specifically, you might want to go after the ranged enemies first, since those are always a problem. There’s also a samurai here, who uses combo attacks, so watch for the blue color. After defeating all of the enemies, speak with the lady with the marker over her head, who says that she’ll take Lady Nene to Sokenji Temple.
Sokenji Temple Location¶
Luckily for you, Sokenji Temple is in the Azuchi area, so you won’t need to go anywhere else. Return to the main stairs and continue climbing them, until you reach a fork where there’s a small set going down. If you keep going up at this point, you will reach Azuchi Castle, so that’s too far. If you go down the other path just mentioned, you’ll arrive at Sokenji Temple. Despite the place showing up as a restricted area on the map, there are no enemies here, at least right now.

Head west to the open building and approach the table at the end for some scenes. These scenes will set up the quests for two of the targets, The Naginata and The Noble, as well as ends this quest.
