Still unsure about her intentions, Naoe and Yasuke decides to continue delving into the past of Oni-yuri, after first meeting her in Sweet Lies. This will lead to the Sweet Revenge mission being unlocked, which will be needed if you wish to recruit Oni-yuri to the League. This page will give a complete walkthrough of the Sweet Revenge quest, including where to find Oni-yuri’s bag and the pirate.

Retrieve Oni-yuri’s Bag¶
Oni-yuri won’t be in Tsuruga, but will be at another spot to the north of there. Just northeast of where you ended the previous quest will be the Kehi Jingu Shrine (just another location), so first discover that, then go north to reach the Scorched Hamlet. This is where Oni-yuri is staying and you might see two guys near her hut, who seem to be harassing her. While you can attack them and kill the pair, they seem to leave on their own and won’t attack you, so you can totally ignore them.
Either way, head inside the building to speak with Oni-yuri, who says that she’s used to being bothered. Respond with You are strong (just in case), which will prompt her to talk about something they have stolen and taken back to their camp at the Tsuruga Sea Port. This is found back in Tsuruga, of course, and is on the northern end of the town. Despite it appear as a white dot on your map, the place you’re going to is a restricted area, so you will want to play it a little stealthily, especially if you’re playing as Naoe.

The biggest problem right away at the Tsuruga Sea Port is the enemy in the watchtower, so you should go after him first. From there, look to the northern corner of the compound to see the blue dot, indicating the location of Oni-yuri’s bag. There is only one enemy in front of that building, as well as one more that patrols near it. Take out the patrolling guard when he’s looking at the stationary one, then you can assassinate the second enemy. None of the other enemies in the compound should be able to see either of the bodies, although you can always move the patrolling guard’s body to a more secure spot.
Once the coast is clear, head inside the building with the blue dot and retrieve Oni-yuri’s bag on the floor. Return it to her back at her place, then you’ll have to hunt down the pirate she is seeking.
Sweet Revenge - Pirate Location¶
You now have to hunt down the pirate that kill Oni-yuri’s father, with your in-game clues being that he’s in Wakasa, in northern Lake Suigetsu, and at Amiko Estate. If you’ve already discovered this location, then that’s great, but if you haven’t, you’ll have to find it. Lake Suigetsu is located to the southwest of Sotomo Gate and Amiko Estate is found to the north of the name on the map. At Zoom x3, look directly north of “Lake,” near the tip of the peninsula in the middle.

When you arrive at Amiko Estate, you will not only see the pirate there, but also Oni-yuri. It appears she had been slowly poisoning the pirate/samurai, so when you approach them, the samurai comes after you. Thankfully, you don’t have to fight him to a hard battle, since a good chunk of his health is already gone. After the bout is over, watch the scene that occurs. When you see dialog choices, pick I understand first, then I will show you to have Oni-yuri join you as an ally.
