By
Jarrod Garripoli

Hunter Bows are versatile, mid-range weapons with moderate speed and accuracy, and deal average Impact and Tear damage. This page will contain information on the Death-Seeker’s Shadow.

Description

A bow gifted to Death-Seekers before they set out from the Nora Sacred Land, never to return. Its arrows strike as hard as stone, downing those who must be brought to justice.

Where to get the Death-Seeker’s Shadow

Location Cost
The Maw of the Arena; Dukkah 80 Arena Medals

The Death-Seeker’s Shadow can be purchased from Dukkah, at The Maw of the Arena. In order to gain access to this NPC, you will need to have finished The Kulrut story mission. Once you have done this, you can find a pair of NPCs at The Maw of the Arena that give you an errand to reopen the Arena itself. You only need to speak with the NPCs, named Kalla and Dukkah, to gain access to Dukkah’s wares, so you don’t need to actually complete the errand to reopen the Arena. She will be marked on the map with a medal icon and is close to where you first encountered her. Speak to her, then select the option to Trade Medals to see the list of items she has, one of which will be the Death-Seeker’s Shadow.

How to Use the Death-Seeker’s Shadow

The Death-Seeker’s Shadow is one of the best Hunter Bows in the game, for its raw Tear damage and ability to break off machine parts. It is also a great bow to use whenever you need to inflict the Shocked status. If you are facing an enemy weak to Shock, then you will probably want to use this bow. The third ammo type, the Targeting Hunter Arrows, are situational and only really need to be used if you are overriding machines. As such, the lack of a third proper ammo type does knock this bow down a little bit, in terms of overall usefulness.
