How to Find the Stillsands West Rebel Outpost¶

The Stillsands West Rebel Outpost is to the southwest of the Stillsands North Rebel Outpost and the southnorth of the Stillsands South Rebel Outpost, creating a triangle. Even with the location marked on the map it can be a little difficult to find, as it’s in a ravine in the mountain and it takes some climbing to get to.

The game recommends you should be at least Level 25 to attempt this Outpost, though it’s actually very doable on much less.

How to Defeat the Stillsands West Rebel Outpost¶

If you approach it from the right angle, this Outpost is a piece of cake.

Come towards the Outpost from the north. That means you’ll have to climb over mountainous rocks to get to it, but it’s well worth it. When a Grapple Point lights up, jump at it and stand there. The Outpost Leader will be right below you and you can complete the mandatory objective, find and kill the Rebel Leader with a very easy Silent Strike. Loot him there and then for the Soldier Tags and you can double back the way you came as Aloy remarks to herself that the Rebel Soldiers will now abandon the place. Quest complete!

Grapple to this post to kill the Leader below.

If you approach it from the other side, it’s a much harder Outpost to stealth and you’ll likely have to go through and kill all of the Rebels to reach the leader. It’s on par with the other Stillsands Outposts in terms of difficulty so still not too bad, but it does take longer.

Of course, once you’ve killed the Leader, you may choose to go in and kill all of the Rebels anyway if you like to complete the optional part of missions. There’s also some loot to be found, though nothing special.
