The Deluxe Edition of AC Mirage comes with a number of bonus content features and collectibles, such as the Prince of Persia Deluxe Pack which includes the Sand Outfit, Desert Sands Initiate of Alamut outfit dye, Sand Sword, Dagger of Time, Sand Eagle, Sand Horse, and the Hourglass of Time talisman. On this page, we’ll show you how and when you can unlock these items once you reach Baghdad after completing the prologue.
How to Unlock the Prince of Persia DLC Cosmetics¶
You may be wondering how to unlock the Prince of Persia DLC outfit and other cosmetics when you first start playing AC Mirage. However, you won’t be able to do this until you’ve completed the prologue. Although you find yourself in Baghdad early on, you’ll only be playing as a young Basim, and you’ll have limited access to various features and areas in the game. You should focus on completing the prologue as quickly as possible to unlock the additional content.
Once you’ve completed your assassin training during the prologue and returned to Baghdad as an older Basim, you should get a message telling you that the Deluxe Pack DLC content is now available. At this point, you can open your inventory to check for items such as the Sand Outfit and Dagger of Time, but if they’re not yet there you should try restarting your game first. If the items are still not in your inventory after doing this, check the Ubisoft store from the in-game menu and look for the Deluxe Pack. You may need to select it from here to download it before it appears in your inventory.
Deluxe Edition Items Still Not Unlocking?¶
If you’ve tried all of the above and the Deluxe Pack content still isn’t appearing in your inventory, you may need to advance the story a bit more and then try restarting the game. Get through the first couple of missions from the Harbiyah Bureau in Baghdad, then try checking for the content again.
All Prince of Persia Pack Items¶
If you’re curious to know what each of the main Prince of Persia-inspired items offers in AC Mirage, we’ve provided a brief breakdown of their basic stats and effects below.
Sand Outfit¶
The Sand Outfit provides an improved version of its buff at different levels. Note that level one is unlocked automatically, but you’ll need to use upgrade materials to reach levels two and three for the additional effects. In this case, all the upgrades do is increase the length that time is slowed by an additional second.
Ability | Effect |
---|---|
Second Chance | Once during a conflict, Basim can survive a lethal hit and slow down time for 3 seconds. |
Sand Sword¶
The Sand Sword can’t be upgraded, but it provides healing whenever you kill an enemy while time is slowed.
Ability | Effect |
---|---|
Healing Sand | Killing an enemy while time has slowed down regenerates 20% Health. |
Dagger of Time¶
The Dagger of Time can’t be upgraded either, but you’ll be able to slow down time for 3 seconds whenever you perform a perfect parry.
Ability | Effect |
---|---|
Dagger of Time | Perfect Parries slow down time for 3 seconds. |
Hourglass of Time, Sand Eagle, and Sand Horse¶
The Sand Horse, Sand Eagle, and Hourglass of Time are all cosmetic items, which don’t provide any special buffs for combat. You can still equip these by visiting a stable master (or just selecting the Hourglass of Time talisman from your inventory). You’ll also find the Desert Sands Initiate of Alamut outfit dye, which you can apply to your basic assassin armor if you’re not a fan of the Sand Outfit.
