The Lost Books are one of the many collectibles to be found in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. There is only a single Lost Book in the Abbasiyah region, and it’s fairly easy to find, although getting to it might prove to be a little confusing. This page will tell you where to find the Lost Book in Abbasiyah, as well as how to get it.
Where to Find the Lost Book in Abbasiyah in AC Mirage¶

On the western side of the Abbasiyah region, there is a large location called the House of Wisdom. It is here that can meet with Al-Jahiz, the man who takes your Lost Books. If you look at your map, there is a river just north of Al-Jahiz and right before the gate that leads out of the city, there is a building. The Lost Book will be on the second floor of that building, so use your Eagle Vision to confirm its exact location.
How to Get the Lost Book in Abbasiyah¶
With its location out of the way, you will notice that the window on the second floor is barred. There also doesn’t seem to be a way inside from the top and you’ll need to be careful, as the building is right next to the wall, which is a restricted area. Go to the ground level and look on the southern side, where you’ll see some boards on the doorway. If you aim a Throwing Knife at these boards, you’ll notice the targeting reticule will turn red. That means you can break the boards, so do that and enter the building.

To get up to the second floor, you’ll need to move a shelf, which is right inside. Grab it, then pull the shelf towards you, then to the side. That will grant you access to the stairs behind the shelf, leading to the second floor. The Lost Book, titled Al-Kwarizmi: Al-Jabr, is sitting on the table right there. You can either exit the building by removing the bar on the window next to the table or going back downstairs and out the front door.
