Assassin's Creed Mirage

Best Outfits in Assassin's Creed Mirage

By
Jessica Dillon

Outfits are the equivalent of armor in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. Instead of giving you a defense boost, though, they focus on granting you bonuses such as healing you or reducing the noise that Basim makes while moving around. Below, we are taking a look at all the outfits you can obtain while playing Mirage and which ones are best for helping you have a more seamless gameplay experience.

You can change outfits from your inventory screen, each one provides different buffs.

All Obtainable Outfits in Mirage

There are currently a total of nine different costumes that you can use in Mirage, two of which are paid DLC and one that only appears if you buy the deluxe edition of the game. Please note that costumes and outfits are different items. Costumes are skins for your outfit that do not affect your gameplay. There are six outfits that you can get organically, and every single one of them has a different bonus to help you when carrying out assassinations. The chart below lists all nine outfits, where to get them, and what bonus you will gain when wearing them.

Outfit Name How to Get Bonus
Abbasid Knight Outfit Gear Chests in Karkh Every second, you will regenerate 1% of Basim’s health until he reaches 50% health.
Fire Demon Outfit Paid DLC Assassinated bodies will be burned away, leaving no trace.
Hidden One Outfit Gear Chests in Round City Increases Focus by 5%.
Initiate of Alamut Outfit Complete Tutorial Assassinations are 50% quieter.
Jinn Outfit Paid DLC Afflictions last 100% longer.
Milad’s Outfit Collect Five Mysterious Shards Stuns nearby guards after an aerial assassination.
Rostam Outfit The Marked Coins Contract Reduces noise by 50%.
Sand Outfit Purchase Deluxe Edition Gives Basim a second wind when he should have been killed.
Zanj Uprising Outfit Gear Chests in Harbiyah Reduces notoriety by 20%.

Keep in mind that you can upgrade most of these outfits, with the exception being the paid DLC outfits. The deluxe edition outfit can still be upgraded. This increases the effectiveness of all the bonuses, and each outfit can be upgraded a total of two times. For a guide on how to upgrade outfits, check out our page here.

Best Outfits in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

While the DLC outfits have some of the best abilities, many players don’t want to pay to unlock them. Due to this, we will only be looking at the outfits that you can gain through playing the game. For starters, The Rostam Outfit is great for stealth and can be obtained from one of the earliest contracts in the game, The Marked Coins. This reduces the sound you make, greatly aiding your ability to sneak around. With Mirage so heavily leaning on the stealth aspects, this is an indispensable bonus.

Next, you will want to look into the Milad’s Outfit. This outfit stuns nearby enemies when you complete an aerial assassination. This will give you time to easily assassinate a nearby guard who was standing too close, keeping them from alerting their comrades. This is another outfit that greatly leans into the stealth portion of the game that encompasses Mirage’s gameplay. The other obtainable costumes are helpful, but most players won’t need to worry about increasing focus, slowly healing, or reducing notoriety. All of these can be helpful, but we don’t feel like most players will need them once they learn the game and master the stealth mechanics. This easily makes the Rostam and Milad outfits the best in the game.
