The Assassin’s Creed games in recent times have certainly drawn a lot of attention from people, due to their large open worlds and more role-playing mechanics. However, they have also drawn a lot of negative attention, due to how long the games are, with ones like Valhalla surpassing 100 plus hours, if you wanted to do anything. So naturally, a lot of people are asking how long the newest game in the franchise, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, will be.

Mirage is a game that hearkens back to the simpler Assassin’s Creed games.

How Much Content is in Mirage?¶

One of the first things that should be noticed with Mirage is that it’s not a full-priced game, as it costs $50, compared to the $60 that Valhalla and previous entries cost when they debuted. This would lead many to believe that the game isn’t as long. Ubisoft themselves have said this isn’t a game that will boast as much content as Origins, Odyssey, or Valhalla. Of course, there are many first-hand experiences with the game, from many reviews, who clocked the main story completion at around 15 hours or so.

Naturally, this will depend on your playstyle, as it’s possible to just blast through the main narrative in a little less than that. Assassin’s Creed Mirage also features plenty of option things to do, like side quests and collectibles, so if you’re doing that side content at the same time as the main story, then it’s going to take you longer. This can also take even longer, depending on if you go full stealth and barge into every encounter, with “guns blazing.”

It’s important to remember that Mirage hearkens back to the earlier Assassin’s Creed games, where it was more action-adventure, without all of the RPG elements thrown into the mix. That is why this game won’t take as long to finish as the previous entries. If you’re looking to do absolutely everything in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, then you are probably going to get about 25-30 hours out of the full release.
