The Scholar’s Estate is another restricted area that you can visit in the Abbasiyah region, in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. You can find the building in the southeastern portion of the Suburb of Kahtabah district. This will be another Gear Chest where you need to find a key, although this time, the actual chest is locked, instead of just some door. This page will tell you how to find the chest, as well as the key needed to unlock it.
You will need to find a key in order to open up this Gear Chest.
How to Get the Scholar’s Estate Gear Chest¶
Getting to the chest isn’t particularly difficult, but it is locked and you’ll need a special key, so it’s a good idea to go after that first. The Scholar’s Estate Chest Key is found in the southeastern corner of the estate grounds. It’s inside a building there, and there will be two guards standing right in front of the only entrance. So, you’re going to do a quick double kill, provided you don’t have the necessary skills from the skill tree yet. To do this, you’ll need at least one Throwing Knife.
Head to the top of the building with the key, which isn’t hard to find because of the key symbol. Look at the two guards by the door and aim your knife at the one’s head. As soon as you release it to kill him, immediately hit the assassination button prompt to swiftly kill the other guard. When they are down, go through the door they were guarding to find the key on a table. Exit that building and climb to the very top of it, then drop down to cross the arch and to the building with the chest inside it.
To get into the building with the chest, use your Eagle Vision and locate the window with the wooden covering on it. Use a Throwing Knife, or just attack it normally, to break the covering, then head inside. There will be two shelves you have to move before you can gain access to the Gear Chest. Once you’ve moved them out of the way, unlock the chest and open it for either the Abbasid Knight Sword, or one of its Upgrade Schematics.
