Assassin’s Creed Mirage sees the franchise return to a more compact, story-driven experience that plays out on a smaller world map than its recent predecessors, such as Odyssey and Valhalla. You’ll find yourself playing as Basim, a main character from the story of Valhalla, and his journey is based in Baghdad. The stealth / rogue gameplay that the original Assassin’s Creed was known for is also taking center stage again. Adding to this turn to the old ways, you can also get your hands on the original outfit for two of the most iconic protagonists from the series: Altair and Ezio. We’ll show you how to get them on this page.
How to Get the Altair Costume in AC Mirage¶
If you played Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you’ll know that an Altair costume isn’t unique to Mirage. The costume became available for Eivor to use towards the end of the support for Valhalla, as a nod to the history of the franchise. The difference here is that Eivor never truly became an assassin of the Hidden Ones, choosing instead to take his own path while protecting his people. Basim, on the other hand, is a fully-fledged Hidden One in Mirage, and he can wear the outfit of his predecessor with pride. If you want to get your hands on the Altair outfit, you’ll need to spend 60 Units at the Ubisoft Connect store.
You can navigate to the Ubisoft Connect store by going to the regular store from the in-game menu. Alternatively, you can access it when the game is closed on PC via the Ubisoft Connect program. If you’re playing on PS5, you can hit the touchpad to go to the menu, then hover over to the Ubisoft Connect option.
How to Get the Ezio Revelations Costume in AC Mirage¶
To obtain the Ezio costume in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you’ll need to spend Units again. This one costs 100 Units. If you’re wondering exactly which outfit from Ezio’s history is on offer, it’s the one he used as a Master Assassin in Assassin’s Creed Revelations, during his quest through Constantinople. A bit odd, considering that this particular outfit was meant to keep him warm in a cold environment… unless Baghdad is going through an ice age, it might feel slightly out of place.
How to Get the Old Basim Valhalla Costume in AC Mirage¶
There’s one final legacy outfit that you can get from Ubisoft Connect, the one that Basim wore during Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. At this point in his life, Basim was a veteran assassin, and the level of detail in his outfit reveals that. You can get this one for free, so you don’t need to complete any challenges or have a history of purchasing games from the Ubisoft Connect store. All you need to do is open the regular store in-game, navigate to the Old Basim Costume, and select it. You should then find it in your inventory, ready to be worn, but you may need to restart the game if it’s not there initially.
