Assassin's Creed Mirage

All Historical Sites in the Wilderness - Assassin's Creed Mirage

By
Jarrod Garripoli

Plenty of collectibles are featured in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, one of which are Historical Sites. These are essentially white glowing orbs that will detail the significance of the location, or another facet, in history. There are a total of 66 Historical Sites to be found in the game, with 13 of them in the Wilderness area. All you have to do is walk up to the orb and hold down the button shown to collect it.

Where to Find the Other Palaces Historical Site

(1 of 2) The location of the Other Palaces site on the map.

The location of the Other Palaces site on the map. (left), It will be found right in front of the Winter Palace in Anbar. (right)

The first Historical Site on this list is found in Anbar, your hometown, which is located in the northwest corner of the map. Once you have made your way back there, look near the front entrance to the Winter Palace to find the white orb.

Where to Find the Dur-Kurigalzu Historical Site

(1 of 2) The location of the Dur-Kurigalz site on the map.

The location of the Dur-Kurigalz site on the map. (left), Look southeast of Anbar for this Historical Site, which is above ground. (right)

This one is located in the middle of the desert, to the north of Baghdad. In fact, if you venture southeast from Anbar, you will likely run across a Viewpoint in the middle of the desert. This will place you at the Dur-Kurigalzu location, which is where you need to be. The Historical Site orb is located on the southern side of the little rock formation.

Where to Find the Founding of Baghdad Historical Site

(1 of 2) The location of the Founding of Baghdad site on the map.

The location of the Founding of Baghdad site on the map. (left), It will be on top of a sand dune, in the middle of the desert. (right)

Another Historical Site that is found north of the main city, this one might be a little difficult to pinpoint. If you head straight east from the Dur-Kurigalzu, you will enter the ’Aqarquf Dunes section of the desert. Go right to the marker for this area, then continue straight east from there. While zoomed out all the way on the in-game map, locate the “Wilderness North” name on it. Head straight north from the “N” in North and you will eventually run into the marker for the Historical Site. It will be found on top of a desert dune, with no real landmarks in the area.

Where to Find the Baghdad’s Canals Historical Site

(1 of 2) The location of the Baghdad’s Canals site on your map.

The location of the Baghdad’s Canals site on your map. (left), Look west of the Greeks’ Gate in the northeastern corner. (right)

This Historical Site is found right outside of the walls that separate the Wilderness and the Harbiyah region. In the northeastern corner of Harbiyah is the Nestorian Monastery, and just west of it will be the Greeks’ Gate. Exit there and follow along the wall mentioned above, until you eventually see the marker for the Historical Site on your map. Go and collect it to finish off this collectible.

Where to Find the Agriculture Historical Site

(1 of 2) The location of the Agriculture site on the map.

The location of the Agriculture site on the map. (left), It will be found right at the Water Mill location. (right)

From the previous site, head southwest until you run into the river, then follow that west at the crossroads there. Eventually, you will discover the Water Mill location. If you got lost, there’s a Viewpoint right to the south of the Water Mill. The white orb for the Historical Location is found near the one dock, on ground level.

Where to Find the Gates of Baghdad Historical Site

(1 of 2) The location of the Gates of Baghdad site on the map.

The location of the Gates of Baghdad site on the map. (left), Check on the bridge right by the Iron Gate for this one. (right)

Return to that crossroads for the rivers mentioned above and start following it to the southwest. When you reach the first bridge, get out of the water and you’ll find the Historical Site on the actual bridge. This will be right outside of the Iron Gate location on your map.

Where to Find the Zubaydah bint Ja’far Historical Site

(1 of 2) The location of the Zubaydah bint Ja’far site on the map.

The location of the Zubaydah bint Ja’far site on the map. (left), It’s right outside of the city walls, southwest of the Iron Gate. (right)

Jump back in the water after the previous site and continue southwest, until you reach another crossroads. The land just south of there is the Tomb of Zubaydah, so go there and look for the white orb in the middle of the area.

Where to Find the Caravanserai Historical Site

Find your way back to the Water Mill and go to the river to the north of it, where the Wilderness North writing is on your map. Follow this river to the west, ignoring all other paths, until you reach a second bridge. Just southwest of that bridge is the Caravanserai location (not to be confused with the Abandoned Caravanserai, which is a separate location). The site is found just outside the eastern entrance to the place.

(1 of 3) The location of the Caravanserai site on the map.

Where to Find the Camels Historical Site

You won’t have to go far for this Historical Site, as it’s right by the Caravanserai where you got the previous site. It will be a little southwest of it, by a corral that is holding some camels.

Where to Find The One Thousand and One Nights Historical Site

(1 of 2) The location of The One Thousand and One Nights site on the map.

The location of The One Thousand and One Nights site on the map. (left), It is found towards the southwestern corner of the map. (right)

You will be venturing to the south of the city this time. If you zoom out your map all the way, the spot you’ll be going to is the second “D” in Baghdad. Specifically, you’re going to the bottom of the “D” there. This area is actually a place you can visit at some point, but for the sake of this collectible, the orb will be sitting pretty much in the open, right before venturing into the cliffs portion.

Where to Find the Death and Afterlife Historical Site

(1 of 2) The location of the Death and Afterlife site on the map.

The location of the Death and Afterlife site on the map. (left), It is just southwest of the Gate of the Mills. (right)

Looking at your map, you should see a river that runs into the southeastern portion of the main city. A little southwest of where it enters the city is the Gate of the Mills location. You will find this Historical Site a little southwest of the gate, not far from the one Enigma there.

Where to Find the Silk Roads Historical Site

(1 of 2) The location of the Silk Roads site on the map.

The location of the Silk Roads site on the map. (left), Look for the village of Jarjaraya, along the eastern coast. (right)

Southeast of the previous site, you will eventually run into the village of Jarjaraya, right along the coast. It’s fairly in the middle of the village and on street level, so it’s not exactly hard to find.

Where to Find the Seleucia-on-the-Tigris Historical Site

(1 of 2) The location of the Seleucia-on-the-Tigris site on the map.

The location of the Seleucia-on-the-Tigris site on the map. (left), Look for some ruins in the southeastern corner of the map. (right)

The final one on this list is found in the southeastern corner of the map. The panel that tells you how many collectibles you’ve found will get in the way here, so make sure you hide it to get an idea of where to go. There will be some unnamed ruins here and the Historical Site orb will be right there, out in the open.
