The Scriptorium is an area in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, found in the Abbasiyah region. It will be just north of the Yasiriyah name on your map, which is towards the western side of the region. You will find that this Gear Chest is relatively simple, as you just need to clear a few enemies out of the way to get to it.

The chest at the Scriptorium is found inside a building and is quite easy to get.

How to Get the Scriptorium Gear Chest¶

First and foremost, you won’t be able to use Enkidu here, as there is a Marksman on the one roof. Considering you will be going by this enemy as you head towards the chest, you can take him out to be able to scout with Enkidu, although it’s not really all too necessary. When you arrive at the Scriptorium, you will see it’s a restricted area, like the majority of the spots with Gear Chests. Since you can’t use Enkidu, you will want to rely on your Eagle Vision to spot the enemies, although its range isn’t all too great.

Start off by going to the northern side of the building and climbing the wall up to a certain point. If you do use Enkidu and have the Marksman scare it away, then that enemy will be marked, so that might be a good idea. The idea is to keep an eye on some enemies on the roofs here. Going up all the way means there’s a good chance one will spot you, but if you assassinate them from the side, then you can breathe a little easier. Once you get rid of one enemy, climb to the top and get rid of the Marksman, as he should be right there.

From there, look for the one enemy just west on a lower ledge. Take him out and you only have one more thing before getting the Gear Chest. There is a balcony right next to this spot, with an opening that goes inside the building. However, a Horn Blower will be patrolling the inside of the room, so wait until he has his back turned before dropping down and entering the room. You can stand on the right side of the balcony to avoid that enemy’s detection until he turns around. Go inside once he does, then quickly take him out and open the chest for either the Abbasid Knight Sword, or one of its Upgrade Schematics.
