As you play through Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you will undoubtedly be forced into combat with enemies. During your various fights over the course of the game, you will likely falter and get injured, forcing you to heal yourself. By pressing Down on the directional pad, you will use one of your Elixirs, your health potions, pretty much. However, you will notice that you only have a limited supply of them, two in fact. This page will tell you how to restock your Elixirs, as well as increase the maximum quantity of them.
How to Replenish Elixirs in Assassin’s Creed Mirage¶
After using an Elixir to heal yourself in the game, you will notice that they don’t get replenished right away. In fact, no matter what you do, your stock won’t actually be replenished. That is because you need to hunt down the blue chests that are out in the world. You will usually find these strewn about and they glow orange whenever you use your Eagle Vision. Unlike the chests that give you resources and upgrade materials, though, the blue chests are much more common.
You will usually find these chests strewn about, but they do seem to be more common in restricted areas. It should be noted that the blue chests don’t just replenish the Elixirs, but pretty much all of your tools. So, if you’re running low on things to use during missions, or just need to top off your health, use Eagle Vision a lot and keep a look out for the blue chests.
Another way to replenish Elixirs, as well as tools, is by the use of Traders. These NPCs are marked on your map with a bag icon, and all you need to do is initiate trade with them to see the option to replenish your items. Of course, this will cost you some money, so if you wish to do this without needed to spend, then seek out the blue chests.
How to Increase Elixir Inventory¶
You start the game with a measly supply of two Elixirs to use for healing. Depending on your playstyle, this might be enough, but it might not be. You may be wondering if it’s possible to increase the maximum number of Elixirs you can hold. Well, the short answer is yes, but it’s not a whole lot. In fact, it appears you are only able to get one more Elixir added to your total. You do this by simply purchasing the designated skill from the skill tree.
To be precise, you want to look under the middle skill tree, called Trickster. The one skill is called Elixir Pocket and the description says that it increases the maximum number of Elixirs you can carry by one. This skill costs two Skill Points, and you actually need to purchase Auto-Collect first, as it’s a prerequisite. This will cost you a single Skill Point, so you’ll need to spend a total of three Skill Points to get that extra Elixir.
