Assassin's Creed Mirage

Completing The Trade Delegate Contract - Assassin's Creed Mirage

By
Jessica Dillon

The Trade Delegate is a contract that sends you into the Wilderness area. Here, you will have to figure out what happened to a missing trader by investigating an ambush site and then later freeing them from their attackers. The mission can be a bit frustrating as the clues at the ambush site are easy to miss. Below, we go over how to unlock The Trade Delegate, where both ambush site clues are located, and how to ultimately save the trader.

The Trade Delegate contract can be accepted after completing The Traitor contract.

When Does The Trade Delegate Contract Become Available?

The Trade Delegate is part of a contract quest line, meaning that it won’t appear until you have finished the prerequisite contracts. You will need to have completed The Perfume Trader, and its follow up mission, The Traitor to unlock the Trade Delegate. Once The Traitor finishes, The Trade Delegate will immediately appear on the contract board at the bureau.

Ambush Site Clues and How to Save The Trade Delegate

The Trade Delegate will send you to the southern part of the map, into the Wilderness area. You will want to ride your mount south until you reach the Ambush Site. The extra task for this mission is to avoid taking any damage. Use the grass around the Ambush Site to take out the three guards without alerting them. Once it’s clear there will be a busted wagon near the tree, investigate it. Next, follow the road that’s leading further south and activate your Eagle Vision. You should see a faint glow of orange coming from the road. When you get close enough, you can investigate it.

At this point, the marker will move to a camp a bit down the road. Here, you will find the trade delegate locked inside of a cage. Don’t rush in yet, though. You will want to sneak into the hay cart. Whistle to draw the nearby guard over and assassinate him. The guard with the key will walk right by this cart, so wait for him and then assassinate him to get the cage key.

(1 of 9) The Trade Delegate will take you to the southern Wilderness.

You can use the grass on the right to kill the next guard and then make your way into camp. The guards up top won’t notice you as long as you use the grass path for cover as it goes right up to the cage. Once you unlock the cage, you will need to pick the trade delegate up and carry him out of the camp. Follow the road north until the game automatically gets you to set him down. At this point, you just need to talk with him to get your rewards.

The Trade Delegate Rewards

The Trade Delegate will give you 45 components, 135 Steel Ingots, and two Merchant Favor tokens for completing the mission. If you manage not to take any damage, then he will give you a bonus reward of 65 Dirhams and two additional Merchant Favor tokens. After the rewards are in your pocket, The Trade Delegate contract will be complete.
