How to Use the Dual Blades

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

Dual Blades are a melee weapon type that deals cut damage. They are favoured by players who prefer rapid and agile attacks over the slow and heavy larger weapons. The Dual Blades also have two extra modes that offer the player more attack speed and damage. They’re also a good choice for the player who likes to apply status effects with their weapons because of their attack speed.

When in Demon Mode, your hunter will glow red!

Demon Mode

Demon Mode is activated by pressing Monster Hunter Rise Screenshot and it can also be cancelled using the same button. Whilst in Demon Mode, your moves are altered and you’ll have the opportunity to pull off different combos. You are also immune to knockbacks. However, whilst in Demon Mode, your stamina is steadily consumed so you’ll need to cancel Demon Mode to conserve and replenish your stamina bar.

Archdemon Mode

With each successful attack in Demon Mode, you’ll fill up the Demon Gauge. Archdemon mode is activated once the demon gauge is completely filled and turns from white to red. As you use enhanced archdemon abilities your demon gauge will empty.
