How to complete Abominable Snow-beast¶
This page is a walkthrough for the Quest, Abominable Snow-beast. It will navigate you through the necessary steps to successfully defeating Goss Harag.
The Abominable Snow-beast quest becomes available when you reach 6* Village Quests.

Goss Harag Location¶
Once you’ve accepted the quest, be sure to consume some delicious Bunny Dango and equip yourself with a Fire based weapon before departing. You’ll be able to find Goss Harag in the following locations.

How to defeat Goss Harag¶

Goss Harag is a Fanged Beast type monster which was introduced in Monster Hunter Rise. This monster has a major weakness to Fire. Goss Harag likes to defend itself with the combination of icey breath and ice crafted weapons. You’ll want to work on destroying these weapons quickly, as getting hit by them will inflict Iceblight. Return to Kamura Village¶
Once you’ve defeated Goss Harag, return to Kamura Village and speak with Hinoa to bring this quest to a close.
