How to complete Down ‘n’ Dirty¶
This page is a walkthrough for the Quest, Down ‘n’ Dirty. It will navigate you through the necessary steps to successfully defeating Almudron.
The Down ‘n’ Dirty Quest becomes available when you reach 3* Hub Quests.

Almudron Location¶
Once you’ve accepted the quest, be sure to consume some delicious Bunny Dango and equip yourself with a Ice based weapon before departing. You’ll be able to find Almudron in the following locations.

How to defeat Almudron¶
Almudron is a Leviathan type monster which was introduced in Monster Hunter Rise. This monster has a major weakness to Fire. Almudron is another muddy monster, so fighting it can be rather messy if you’re inexperienced. As one of the later monsters you’ll encounter, definitely don’t take the Almudron lightly.

Besides flinging mud all over the place, Almudron is very agile and likes to whack hunters with its long tail. It can also dive underground to avoid attacks and try to frighten its prey. For an in-depth strategy to tackling Basarios, refer to our separate Almudron page.
