Critical Competitor

Critical Mode is the hardest difficulty in this game. In order to unlock this trophy, you need to Complete All Storylines in Critical Mode. You must finish Terra, Ventus, Aqua’s story, Final Episode and Secret Episode in Critical Mode.

It sounds hard but to be honest, the only hard part here is the beginning of each of the character’s story. When you get a decent level, better commands and abilities then the rest of the game is not that hard anymore.

When you reach Radiant Garden for every character, we highly recommend spending some time here on this world melding the commands and abilities specified below to make the rest of the game easier. You will also gain a good amount of levels while doing that.

Attack Commands

Fire Surge

Possible Recipe: Fire Strike (Lv3) + Fira (Lv3)

Thunder Surge

Possible Recipe: Thundara (Lv3) + Fire Dash (Lv3)

These two are going to be your main attack commands. It’s up to you on which element you prefer to use. Both are pretty good damage dealers even during boss battles. When you have melded these two, you can just buy additional copies from the Moogle shop. We recommend having four copies of any of these two.

Magic Commands

Triple Firaga (Aqua Only)

Possible Recipe: Firaga (Lv4) + Firaga (Lv4)

Triple Blizzaga (Aqua Only)

Possible Recipe: Bllizaga (Lv4) + Blizzaga (Lv4)

We only use these ones for boss battles.

Thundaga

Possible Recipe: Thundara (Lv3) + Thundara (Lv3)

Zero Graviga

Possible Recipe: Zero Gravira (Lv3) + Zero Gravira (Lv3)

Magnega

Possible Recipe: Magnera (Lv3) + Magnera (Lv3)

These spells are what you can call your “crowd controller” magic commands. You can defeat countless mobs in a matter of seconds with these spells in your arsenal.

Curaga

Possible Recipe: Cura (Lv3) + Cura (Lv3)

This is basically your healing magic. It’s good to have two copies.

Defense Commands

Renewal Block (Terra, Ventus)

Possible Recipe: Curaga (Lv4) + Block (Lv3)

Renewal Barrier (Aqua)

Possible Recipe: Curaga (Lv4) + Barrier (Lv3)

With this kind of defense command, you can recover a bit of HP when you successfully guard an enemy attack.

Kingdom Hearts II begins where Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days leave off. Sora and his companions have been asleep for about a year, regaining their memories. When Sora awakens, he eventually arrives in Twilight Town, the place where a mysterious boy, Roxas, lived before he suddenly left. Gaining new clothes and powers, Sora began his journey anew, unaware of the events that have taken place in Chain of Memories. Sora continues his quest by unlocking paths to new worlds, learning of Nobodies and fighting the Heartless, as well as facing the remaining members of the mysterious Organization XIII. As the game progresses, Sora learns about Roxas and how much they have in common.

Birth By Sleep is the origins of the series’ hero and villain, Sora and Xehanort, and delves deep into the mysteries of Xehanort’s bleak past and forgotten memories as well as how Sora and Riku came to wield the Keyblade in the first place. It deals with three Keyblade Wielders: Terra, Aqua and Ventus and each character has their own scenario.

Kingdom Hearts II and Birth by Sleep will take you to many places and we have them all covered here. Inside you will find:

  • Complete walkthrough coverage for both Kingdom Hearts 2 and Birth By Sleep.
  • Side quests covered in detail from Absent Silhouettes to Atlantica.
  • Gummi ship missions and details.
  • Mirage Arena covered extensively.
  • Mini-games discussed and much, much more.
