This page will give an overview on what Bonds, as well as how to increase your Bonds with your fellow party members in The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero.

What are Bonds in Trails from Zero¶

Throughout the game, you will sometimes gain opportunities to do some things with your party members that increase your Bond points with them. Normally, you get no indication your Bonds have increased, but there is a way to check who got points and how much. If you go to System via the in-game menu, you should see an option called Records. Go here and at the very bottom, the last three Records should have the hearts icon on the bottom. These are the Bonds with your three party members, with the hearts indicating their Bond level.

So, what does the whole Bonding thing do? Well, you will get some extra scenes with those party members, with one coming near the end of the main story. That scene at the end will occur with whomever had all of the hearts filled, with a tiebreaker going to whomever has the most points, should more than one character fulfills the above condition. The Combo Craft between Lloyd and that character chosen for the event will be upgraded.

The following is a list of all Bonding opportunities in the game, including the character involved (if specific), as well as the number of hearts obtained and when it occurs during the story.

Randy	3	Pick correct answers during the Race at the end of Chapter 3, Day 1.

	1	Chapter 4, Day 3. Complete the Orbal Staff Enhancement optional request.
All	1	Buy the Orbment covers from the Genten Orbal Store before completing Chapter 4, Day 3.
All	2	Buy room decorations (two each) for each character, then visit each of their rooms twice in the SSS Building to install them.
All	2/4/6	Perform at least 3/10/20 Combo Crafts with Lloyd before finishing Chapter 4, Day 3.
