How to Start Stargazer’s Tower Monster Extermination¶

Stargazer’s Tower Monster Extermination is a request that you can begin by examining the computer in the SSS HQ at the start of Chapter 4 Day 3, the final day of the Chapter. Unlike the Blue Pill Investigation Request, this one is entirely optional so it’s a good idea to focus on clearing it (and the other Requests) earlier in the day as once you pass through the door at the end of the Revache & Co. dungeon, you will be locked out of requests.

As with most Monster Extermination Requests, there’s no client that you’ll need to speak to first before you can fight the target so once you have it from the computer, it’s time to set out for Stargazer’s Tower via Crossbell’s southern exit.

How to Complete Stargazer’s Tower Monster Extermination¶

Once you reach Stargazer’s Tower (by taking the intersection on Ursula Road), you’ll need to make your way all the way to the roof, where the bell is. Once you reach it, save your game and then approach Org Virage to begin the battle.

The Org Virages can be a bit of a pain, they only have two real attacks but both are AoEs and can cause some bother. Dark Breath will inflict around 450+ HP and inflict Blind, while Gale of Evil will hit all of your characters for around 550+ HP but more importantly, cause Impede. They tend to use this more often if you’re casting, so be sure to keep an eye on the turn order to make sure your casting will finish before the enemy. Their regular attacks can also hit for well over 800 HP so make sure you keep your HP above 1000 at all times.

(1 of 4) Use Lloyd and Randy’s S-Breaks during a Critical bonus

You should be starting most battles the same way at this point, let Lloyd and Randy use their S-Breaks (even better if it’s on a Critical bonus) while Elie and Tio sling Arts. The Org Virages are weak to both Earth and Space, so Arts such as Gaea Titanis are very useful here, but you go with other high-level Arts for big damage outside of Wind-based Arts. With everything available to you at this stage of the game, and S-Breaks being as powerful as they are (especially using Gladiator accessories to increase their frequency), you should have no issue dealing with the Org Virages.

Your reward for victory is the Craft Book - Star, this will unlock Riot Star for Elie and Randy. You’ll also unlock the Star Performer Achievement/Trophy.
