Walkthrough for the Ursula Road in Chapter 2, during the main quest “Threat Letter Investigation (Part 2)” in The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero, including basic information about the monsters encountered in the area, and the treasures and fishing spots you can find as you explore.
Exploring Ursula Road¶
After clearing the Geofront - B Sector you’ll need to travel to Stargazer’s Tower to continue your investigation. To reach Stargazer’s Tower you’ll need to pass through Ursula Road, specifically a new area you weren’t allowed to explore earlier.
Exit Crossbell City via the Station District, then exit south to reach the second screen of Ursula Road. Continue south and a scene will trigger, where you’ll be directed to exit to the west to reach the forested path that leads to Stargazer’s Tower. Do so and you’ll reach a new area of Ursula Road, complete with new enemies to fight and treasures to loot.

The good news is there’s only one Ursula Road area between you and Stargazer’s Tower. The bad news is it’s fairly sizable and crawling with a half-dozen new enemies. You should go out of your way to fight and Analyze them all, and claim the treasures they guard.
The two enemies you need to watch out for here are the [Gordian], a variation of the boss you fought on Ursula Road in Chapter 1, and the [Blade Bananan]. The massive ape monster is an obvious threat, while the Blade Bananan is more subtle, being capable of inflicting Deathblow with some of their attacks, potentially instantly KOing characters.
From the entrance to this area, work your way west until you reach a fork, at which point take the left path until you reach a dead end, where an ornate chest dwells. Save your game, then open it to end up in a fight with two [Gordi Ossa], superior variants of the Gordians who prowl this area. Despite only being Lv25, you have no realistic hope of defeating these enemies. Even if you were to grind up your levels by preying on the Lv23 foes at the Moon Temple area (off the Mainz Mountain Path), the difference in raw stats is just too much to make up. Their HP, STR and DEF are 9,000~, 500~ and 300~ on normal difficulty, and you’d be lucky to be pushing 2,000 HP and 200 STR/DEF. It’s just not happening. Still, with some luck you can Analyze the foes now and flee, sparing you the necessity of worrying about doing so later on.
Backtrack to the fork and take the right path down southwest, stopping to loot a chest to the left to score some Teara Balm. Continue across a bridge to the southeast, beyond which is another fork. Head northeast and when you reach a third fork head north to find a chest containing Cast Quartz, while to the east you’ll find a chest that’ll yield some Curia Balm. Return back southwest to the fork just beyond the bridge and continue southwest, then west, working your way through the rest of the area until you find an area transition. Exit and you’ll reach the outskirts of Stargazer’s Tower.
