Walkthrough for the Geofront A2 Sector Monster Extermination hidden request in the Intermission of The Legend of Heroes: Trails From Zero. Details on where to find Rebecca and defeat the Golden Cricket.
How to Start Geofront A2 Sector Monster Extermination¶
Geofront A2 Sector Monster Extermination is one of three hidden requests during the Intermission. As the SSS Computer is down during the entirety of the Intermission, you’ll have to seek out potential clients manually and speak with them in order to get the hidden requests, and some are tougher to find than others.
Unlike other Monster Extermination requests, there is a client this time (as you can’t get it from the Computer) so make your way to the Administrative District and go into the CPD. Inside, speak with Receptionist Rebecca twice to have her inform you about the the monster sighting. Take a look at your Detective Notebook at this point and you’ll notice that the Request has now appeared in it.

You’ve been to the Geofront’s A section enough times, and thankfully you have some nice shortcuts that can get you there a bit quicker this time around. Head to Station Street and enter the Geofront and make your way to the Recharge Station. From here, go east and then north beyond the first elevator to find a second that will take you down to A2. When you leave this room and head south, you’ll find the Golden Cricket on the large platform.
The battle itself isn’t an overly difficult one, but you do have to be aware of KeA as if she dies, the game is over. With that in mind, place your characters at the front of the Tactics screen before the battle begins. Despite being in the battle, KeA still acts as a Support character and will either buff your Strength and Speed or summon Zeit to perform an attack that deals around 400 HP to the Golden Cricket.
The main threat from the Golden Cricket comes from the Dissonance attack, this is a rather large AoE and can hit for around 650+ HP while also inflicting Strength Down. This is the reason why you want to make sure your two party members are nowhere near the Golden Cricket. It is, however, susceptible to Blind, so once again, if you have Randy as your partner, make use of Crash Bomb.
The Golden Cricket is also weak to Fire, so if you have Elie or Tio as your partner, concentrate on slinging high-level Fire Arts at the Golden Cricket. As always, S-Breaks are useful, especially if you come into the battle with 200 CP (as you always should). The Golden Cricket only has 5008 HP (on Normal) so it shouldn’t take too long to wear it down, just concentrate on protecting KeA.
