How to Start Old Armorica Road Monster Extermination¶
Old Armorica Road Monster Extermination is a request that you can begin by examining the computer in the SSS HQ at the start of Chapter 3 Day 2. Unlike the Exposing the Counterfeit Dealers Request, this one is entirely optional so it’s a good idea to focus on clearing it (and the other Requests) earlier in the day.
As with most Monster Extermination Requests, there’s no client that you’ll need to speak to first before you can fight the target so once you have it from the computer, it’s time to set out for the East Crossbell Highway.

Once you find yourself in East Crossbell Highway, use the bus and travel to Bus Stop (Fork). From here, take the northern exit to reach Old Armorica Road and follow this path to the northwest and into the next area. Open up your map and you’ll spot the location of the target monster towards the exit of this area.
You’ll be up against two Sepith Demons and each one of them has over 3000 HP so they’re not going down with a single S-Break. As the memo hinted, the Sepith Demon has the capabilities of causing Burn to you so either wear accessories that offer resistances to Burn (such as Cool Necklaces) or get ready to cure anyone that his hit by it. As always, make sure you remember to scan one of the Sepith Demons.
As you have two monsters with lots of HP, it’s a good idea to focus on one of them at a time. Thankfully, the Sepith Demons do not resist Blind, making Randy’s ever useful Crash Bomb Craft should be your first action you take so that they miss you more often. You’ll want to keep an eye out for Flaming Fog Breath which will hit over an area and have a high chance to cause Burn. Be sure to cure it as soon as possible as it will really hurt the longer you let it persist.

Outside of this, their regular attacks can hit for upward of 600 HP, so consider keeping your HP above 800 at all times for safety. If you use Lloyd, Randy and Tio’s S-Break on a single Sepith Demon, it’ll all but kill it so use it as soon as it becomes available (be sure to Blind them with Randy first). Also, keep in mind that the Sepith Demons are weak to both Water and Wind Arts and you should have a Quartz setup that gives you access to the higher level Arts by now so use them, especially with Tio and Elie, against the Sepith Demons to take out the remaining demon quicker.
Your reward for defeating the Sepith Demons is two Burn Quartz. Burn is extremely useful Status ailment to inflict on your foes so consider giving one to both Lloyd and Randy.
