Walkthrough for Crossbell City after your visit to Armorica Village during the main quest Monster Damage Investigation on Chapter 1 Day 1 in The Legend of Heroes: Trails From Zero.

You’ll be given a Crossbell Map upon return to Crossbell City, allowing you to fast travel throughout said city.

Complete your investigation in Armorica Village, after which you’ll need to take the bus back to Crossbell City… or rather, you would have had to, if it wasn’t for a spot of good luck. Investigate the bus stop sign near the exit to Armorica Village and after quite a bit of chatter you’ll find yourself back in Crossbell.

You’ll be given the Crossbell Map during the aforementioned chatter, which allows you to fast travel through the city.

Once you’re back in control you’ll be free to explore Crossbell, and since there are new scenes you can trigger, you may just want to wander around and chat with everybody again. If you want to just focus on the meatier content, however, you’ll find the highlights below:

Fishing Guild Rank Up¶

• Head to the Fishing Guild on East Street and talk to Branch Manager Cerdan. If you caught all four kinds of fish at Armorica Village, you can pick the “Check Rank” option to increase your guild rank from “Amateur Fisher” to “Hobbyist Fisher”, which will score you a free Straw Hat.

Marte the Fish Vendor¶

• Find a vendor named Marte on East Street, who will give you Sepith in exchange for the fish you’ve caught. It’s a pretty limited selection at this point, and you won’t get much from the fish found at Armorica Village, but as you catch more fish you may find this option useful:

Feeding Coppe Fish¶

Coppe the cat will also appreciate any spare fish you feed it. You can only feed Coppe once per day, so if you already gave Coppe some Cat Food the contented feline won’t be receptive to further feeding. In exchange for fish, Coppe will give you various Quartz - different fish, different types of Quartz. All of the Quartz you can obtain by trading fish caught in Armorica Village can also be obtained by synthesizing Quartz at the Genten Orbal Store, so regardless of what you fed Coppe today, you really can’t miss out on anything at this point.

You can start the request “Search for the Kitten’s Owner” by talking to Ryu and Anri at the Bellheim Apartments on West Street.

Starting the Search for the Kitten’s Owner Request¶

Enter the Bellheim Apartments on West Street, go downstairs and enter the second door to the north. In this apartment you’ll find Ryu and Anri - the two kids you rescued back in the Geofront - who have found themselves a kitten. Somebody else’s kitten. Chat with them and accept their request to start the request Search for the Kitten’s Owner. You should resolve this request before you leave Crossbell.

Take care of whatever business you have in Crossbell (be sure to finish Search for the Kitten’s Owner before you leave!) then exit out to Ursula Road, which you can reach via Station Street.
