Vantage Point Trophies

Vantage Points are one of the game’s collectibles and require you to climb up cliffs to reach a high area. You can purchase maps from merchants once you exit Mother’s Embrace (the starting area), which highlights general areas for all of the collectibles, including Vantage Points. Of course, the maps only reveal a general location for the collectibles, but you can use your Focus to help find them. Vantage Points always has a supply box next to it, containing some goodies for you. When you arrive at the eye icon, press R3 to view the memory of the past. There’s a total of 12 Vantage Points in the game.

Of course, the maps only reveal a general location for the collectibles, but you can use your Focus to help find them. Got the Shield-Weaver Outfit

The Shield-Weaver Outfit is a powerful piece of armor that you can obtain late in the game. It can be found in The Bunker, some ruins similar to the one you fell into as a kid, north of the Main Embrace Gate. However, the outfit is locked behind a door that requires you to solve two puzzles, both of which require Power Cells. These are hidden throughout the game, usually in some place you explore while doing main story missions. They are not missable, as if you forget to get them the first time around, you will be able to go back later in the game to retrieve the power cells. The location of the power cells are as follows:

  • Ruins - On a desk behind some stalagmites/stalactities you can break (can’t get here as a child)
  • Found during The Womb of the Mountain. It’s in a room that is accessible by crouching through a vent.
  • Found during Maker’s End. Once you reach the top of the place and do the story bit there, the one door will open. Instead of taking that door, you can use the footholds behind it to reach the very top, where the Power Cell is located.
  • Found in the Grave-Hoard ruins. After solving the puzzles to open the ancient door, go through it and look for a side room that you can open, which has the Power Cell.
  • Found in GAIA Prime during The Mountain That Fell. After you view a hologram with some scientists, you need to go forward with a zipline. Instead, look for a path that you can climb down, leading to a room with the Power Cell.
Upon retrieving all five Power Cells, head on over to The Bunker to find two sets of locks preventing you from getting the armor. Both sets of puzzles can be solved by using your Focus, but the answers are following this. The first answer is Up, Right, Down, Left and Up (from left to right). For the second one, you want to put them in the following order: Right, Left, Up, Right and Left (again, left to right). Grab the armor after you’re done to finish up.

All Allies Joined

There was some confusion surrounding this trophy at first, some deeming it as missable, but it’s very simple and only requires you to complete specific sidequests. There is no need to choose specific responses when you have the Confront/Insight/Compassion choices, so you can pick whichever you want. Note that some sidequests aren’t immediately available and require you to finish others first. The point of no return is The Looming Shadow main quest, but after completing the game, you do go back to right before that mission if you missed a sidequest or not (you will need to replay the final bits again to get the trophy).

  • A Daughter’s Vengeance
  • A Moment’s Peace
  • Honor the Fallen
  • Queen’s Gambit (complete Traitor’s Bounty to unlock this)
  • Sun and Shadow
  • Sunstone Rock
  • Redmaw (complete Hunting for the Lodge, Hunters’ Blind, and Deadliest Game to unlock this)

Aided the Defectors

In order to get this trophy, you will need to complete two sidequests, Traitor’s Bounty and Queen’s Gambit. Doing the former will unlock the latter, with Traitor’s Bounty unlocking automatically during the Deep Secrets of the Earth main quest.

Trophy/Achievement Icon

Aided the defectors

Aided the escapes of Uthid and the child king Itamen from the Shadow Carja.

Trophy icon

Hunted Redmaw with Talanah

To unlock this trophy, you need to finish the sidequest named Redmaw. However, in order for it to become available, you need to do a few other sidequests/errands first. Upon visiting your first Hunting Grounds, you should receive an errand called Hunting for the Lodge, requiring you to get at least three Half Suns in the Hunting Grounds to be able to enter the Hunters Lodge in Meridian. Do some tasks there to unlock Hunters’ Blind and upon finishing that, you will unlock Deadliest Game. Once you complete that errand, you will finally be able to do Redmaw.

Trophy/Achievement Icon

Hunted Redmaw with Talanah

Rose through the ranks of the Hunters Lodge and helped Talanah defeat Redmaw.
