Towards the middle of the starting area, you will see a Strider site marked on your map. Go northwest of that to find a man laying on the ground, calling for help, just northeast of a campfire, which is just east of a bridge. Thok’s daughter, Arana, went off on her own to hunt down a Scrapper and he wants you to go find her. You will find her in a tree south of where you found Thok, but she’s in a precarious situation, as she is surrounded by four Watchers. Take them out however you want, although you do get a little bit more experience by using stealth, then talk to Arana.

The bad news is that you aren’t quite finished yet with the sidequest, as you need to retrieve the spear from the Scrapper for Arana. The good news is that you get to kill more stuff, so more loot and experience will be acquired. After Arana leaves, you need to activate your Focus with R3 and look around for some purple triangles/mist along the ground. When you’ve found it, press R1 to highlight the track so it will be present when you don’t have your Focus out. Follow the trail until it goes cold, then uncover another and follow that one to another.

Eventually, you will end up in the southeast corner of the area, where you will spot the Scrapper on top of a cliff as it walks away. You will want to be extremely careful as you walk up to this area, as there are two Watchers roaming about and there are two other Scrappers, although the Scrappers should be busy doing their thing. Use the tall grass in the area to take down the Watchers first, then you should be able to sneak behind the Scrappers to perform a Silent Strike. Loot the spear from the one Scrapper, then return it to Thok to finish.
