Cauldron XI Override. If you thought Stalkers were annoying, then meet a machine that could potentially take the crown from them. Glinthawks are essentially flying pests that scavenge machines, similar to Scrappers. They like to move around a lot while in the air, but they are rather fragile and have a glaring weakness to fire, making them relatively easy to kill. The main problem with Glinthawks is that you’ll encounter them quite often as you progress into the later stages of the game, plus you will always have to fight two to three at a time.

Glinthawks don’t have a lot of moves in repertoire, resorting to only three in the long run. They can shoot frozen projectiles at you, which have splash damage when they hit the ground. You will also find them shooting across the sky, dropping the same freeze projectiles. Lastly, they can swoop down in a divebomb-like maneuver to attack you. All Glinthawk battles basically come down to fire arrows until they’re burning, which most often has them crashing to the ground, where you can whack them with your spear.
