Override as part of the main story. The Strider is one of the first machines you come across and one of the least dangerous. In fact, most of the time, they will run off when spooked, so you don’t need to worry about fighting them. You might classify the Strider as a grazing animal, as they will spend most of their time doing nothing. Should they actually attack, they don’t do much other than buck wildly to try and hit you with their hind legs or body. It has a Blaze Canister on its back that you can hit with fire arrows, which will make it explode, damaging not only itself but also machines around it. When overridden, the Strider is one of few machines you will be able to ride.
