Once you get access to the Headquarters in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, you’ll be able to take part in all manner of side activities. The restaurant and the Cooking Battle are lengthy, in-depth endeavors and chief among all of that are the food recipes themselves. There are 93 total Recipes to collect in the game, with 70 of them being ones you have to obtain outside of upgrading the Restaurant at your HQ. This page will go into detail on where you can find every one of those recipes.

Unlocking every Recipe¶
The table below will list all 70 food recipes that you need to find (along with upgrading the restaurant) to collect and cook them all for the Gourmand Hero Achievement/Trophy. Remember, you must cook these dishes at least once at Kurtz’s restaurant for them to register toward the Achievement.

Food Recipe Acquisition Methods¶
As you can see in the table above, there are various methods for acquiring the Food Recipes. You can find an explanation of each of those below:

NPCs: In nearly every town that you visit, there is at least one NPC who will give you a recipe when spoken to. Some of the recipes require you to advance the story a bit and return later.

Dungeon Treasure Chests: You’ll often come across Treasure Chests while exploring the various dungeons, most of these have chests containing recipes.

Battle Treasure Chests: Once you recruit Kurtz, you’ll start encountering Treasure Chests in battles as a gimmick. You must open these before you defeat the final enemy to claim the spoils and many of these contain recipes.

Rare Finds: Perhaps the trickiest recipes to get your hands on. When you enter a town and check the shops, there are Rare Finds that can appear (usually 5-10%). There is nothing you can do to improve your chances, just keep checking back to see if the recipe appears.

Cooking Battle: There are 17 Cooking Battles in the game, and after defeating each opponent, you’ll be awarded a new recipe.
