Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

Beigoma Battles Explained

Jarrod Garripoli

You will find a few different minigames during your journey in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. One of these is called Beigoma and it’s basically a spinning tops-style minigame, similar to the popular Beyblade toys/manga/anime. This minigame has its own little storyline to follow and you will be able to unlock it during the Euchrisse main story arc. This page will detail how to unlock Beigoma, how to play it, and give tips and tricks to winning your matches.

Beigoma is a minigame that is similar to Beyblade.

Unlocking Beigoma Battles

As mentioned in the opening paragraph, you will first be able to unlock this minigame during the Euchrisse story arc. Once you make it to Hishahn, you can recruit a new character named Carrie, who will unlock Fast Travel for you. With this, teleport back to Eltisweiss and head to the southwestern corner of the city. You will see a scene there and after it’s over, look for the building you can enter on the bottom row, on the right side. Go into this building for another scene, where you will play your first Beigoma battle.

Best Beigoma Starter

Before you actually do a battle, you will need to choose between one of three starters. It doesn’t really matter which one you pick here, as outside of the beginning tutorial battle, you’re not going to really win any other Beigoma battles with your starting set. Although, if you wish to have an easier time on the first battle, you could go with the Wind Beigoma.

(1 of 3) Go to the southwestern corner of Eltisweiss during the Euchrisse arc to get started.

When you first launch your Beigoma, you want to get it as close to the center as possible. This will allow it to have maximum spin (it might not make a whole lot of difference, but better to be safe), so just go with it. After you initially drop your Beigoma, you don’t really need to do anything, except to keep an eye on the gauge that increases underneath your Beigoma’s health bar. When it’s full, you can perform a boost with your Beigoma to inflict more damage to your opponent.

Of course, your opponent also has their own boost gauge, so they will be doing the same thing. If your Beigoma has skills attached to them, they will trigger them when landing the boosted attack. Deplete the opponent’s health to win that round. The first Beigoma battle will just be a one-round affair, but all others will be done over three rounds. In order to defeat your opponent, you need to emerge victorious in two out of the three rounds. Even if you win the first two rounds, you still play the third round, although it doesn’t matter if you win or lose.

(1 of 4) You can use a Boost to deal bigger damage, as well as apply buffs and debuffs.

Obtaining New Beigoma

After winning the initial contest, you will be given a starter kit for your Beigoma. If you wish to see all Beigoma in your possession, go to your inventory and navigate to the key items tab. You should see a Beigoma Box here, so click on it to open it and see all of them in your possession. You will only have three at the start, though, and they are rather weak. You cannot purchase more of them, so how exactly do you get stronger Beigoma then?

Well, a lot of Beigoma are dropped from various enemies you encounter. In fact, the majority of the 60 Beigoma are obtained in this way, but they don’t drop the Beigoma before you unlock the minigame. Once you’ve built the Library at your base, you can view the Enemy Encyclopedia there to see which enemies drop Beigoma for you. They will appear as little discs in the drop info under those enemies. Going back and getting these Beigoma is super useful, as the starting ones are super weak.
