There are lots of resources to find and collect on your travels through Allraan in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. These are needed to purchase or upgrade facilities for the Headquarters which becomes available during the main quest Separate Ways. Excellent Lacquer is needed to upgrade some of the facilities to level 3, but it can be quite tricky to find, so we’ll provide you with the location on this page!

Excellent Lacquer Uses¶

Excellent Lacquer is one of the less common resources and you need a lot of it if you wish to get your hands on all of the upgrades. Unfortunately, this resource won’t be obtainable until you’ve played a fair amount of the game. It can be found by interacting with the gathering spots in the Dappled Forest, but only in the third area which doesn’t become available until you’re over halfway through the game. Your next option would be in the Eldroad Dungeon, but again, this won’t be accessible until you’re over halfway through the game.

Alternatively, you can dispatch some of the members in your alliance on the Seek out rare lumber task via the Mission Guild and then they’ll bring back some Excellent Lacquer every 30 minutes. If you want to increase the quantity you get per mission, then you’ll need to place characters with the Foraging Up skill in the team, such as Hildi and Maxim.
