A Crow and a Gentleman is a side quest that can be found within Treviso once you’ve completed both A City Blighted and Missing in Action. It’ll require you to track down Chance Candide and take him down. On this page, we’ll provide you with the necessary steps to reaching his location!

A Crow and a Gentleman Starting Location¶

There’s a few things you’ll need to before you can dive into the A Crow and a Gentleman Side Quest and that is reach the main quest Signs and Portents and complete the prerequisite quests A City Blighted and Missing in Action. You’ll now want to head over to the Antivan Crows Hideout (Cantori Diamond) and speak with Teia and Viago to get this next quest underway.

Find Chance Candide¶

Unfortunately, this time around Chance has gone missing so both Teia and Viago want you to track him down before he is able to harm the citizens of Treviso. Head east and use the zipline to reach the Heart and Central, then continue to make your way through the doorway to the south to reach the Grande Markets.

Speak with the Market Master to discover that Chance saved everyone, but he is now blighted. Head south until you reach The Drowned District to discover the pathway is blocked, so use Darvins ability on the nearby Blight Abscess to temporarily expose two boils, then quickly shoot them to open up the area. Continue heading south to find an area that has been overtaken by the blight.

Deal with the blight (by shooting the boils) first to stop the enemies from continuously spawning, then take out the enemies from a distance, as they’ll explode. Eventually Blighted Chance will come out to play, so you’ll need to take him out. To begin, you’ll want to strip away his shield by using heavy attacks and then you’ll want to start focusing on hitting his elemental weakness (fire), so we recommend relying on Davrin’s abilities for this battle!

Crow and a Gentleman Quest Rewards¶

With Blighted Chance dealt with, return to Crows Hideout and speak with Teia and Viago once more to bring the quest to a close. For completing the quest, you’ll get 1,000 EXP, +250 Antivan Crows Strength, +5 Fade-Touched Crystal and Companion Bond Increased.
