Romance and Dragon Age goes hand-in-hand, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard is no stranger to it. In fact, you’ll be able to romance any character in the game regardless of your Race and Gender, which is a welcome change. Davrin will be introduced to the team during the A Warden’s Best Friend Main Quest. If you wish to romance him, then you’ll need to make sure you’re selecting the correct dialogue choices throughout your adventure. On this page, we’ll provide you with the necessary steps to scoring a date!

Committing to an Exclusive Relationship with Davrin¶
Davrin can always be found at the Lighthouse trying to work on Assan’s training so you’ll want to make sure you pay him a visit throughout the game for a chat. These conversations will provide you with opportunities to flirt with him (indicated with a heart icon) and this will eventually allow you to pursue a romantic interest with him later in the game.
Pursue Romantic Interest in Davrin¶
When you return to the Lighthouse following The Cauldron Side Quest, you’ll get the opportunity to make your feelings towards Davrin known by selecting the I like the thrill of a chase choice. This is a non-committal choice at this stage of the game, so you can still freely flirt with the other companions. However, if you choose to select Sorry, just having fun, then you’ll be locked out from romancing him for this playthrough.
Exclusive Relationship with Davrin¶
Continue selecting the dialogue choices with a heart icon throughout the game and then once you’ve completed the main quest Fire and Ice and you’ll unlock the companion quest called A Friend in Need. Here you’ll be able to make both you and Davrin exclusive by selecting I want to be with you. However, this will mean you’ll no longer be able to romance the other companions on this playthrough.
