Committing to an Exclusive Relationship with Bellara

Bellara can always be found at the Lighthouse trying to learn as much about it as possible so you’ll want to make sure you pay her a visit throughout the game for a chat. These conversations will provide you with opportunities to flirt with her (indicated with a heart icon) and this will eventually allow you to pursue a romantic interest with her later in the game.

Pursue Romantic Interest in Bellara

When you return to the Lighthouse following the Fire and Ice Main Quest, you’ll get the opportunity to make your feelings towards Bellara known by selecting the It’s not, and I do like you choice. This is a non-committal choice at this stage of the game, so you can still freely flirt with the other companions. However, if you choose to select I didn’t mean to lead you on, then you’ll be locked out from romancing her for this playthrough.

Exclusive Relationship with Bellara

Continue selecting the dialogue choices with a heart icon throughout the game and then once you’ve completed the main quest Unwanted Guests you’ll unlock the companion quest called Hummingbird’s Lament. Head back to the Lighthouse and speak with Bellara after completing this quest, then the following dialogue choices will make you and her exclusive.

(1 of 2) Select I’m sure to show you’re interested in Bellara.

Select I’m sure to show you’re interested in Bellara. (left), Select It’s not, and I do like you to make you and Bellara exclusive. (right)

If you choose Maybe not the best idea then this will completely end your relationship with her, but if you select I’m sure, then this will finally make you two exclusive! Once you and Bellara have become exclusive, then her title will become Sweet Romance on the menu, but this will reset the other companions’ status and you’ll no longer be able to romance them on this playthrough.
