December 4th is Dragon Age day, apparently, and since Bioware saw fit to celebrate N7 day by adding Mass Effect themed DLC to Dragon Age: The Veilguard in celebration of their sci-fi setting’s big day, it would be borderline scandalous if the newest Dragon Age game didn’t get some DLC for its unofficial special day. Fortunately such a calamity was avoided and gamers everywhere treated to free cosmetics. This page will tell you how to obtain the free Dragon Age day DLC in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Where to Find the Dragon Age Day DLC¶

Active development may be done for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, but that doesn’t mean we’re not still getting free goodies… for now, at least. There are some conditions on this prize, however - you must have the latest patch installed (patch 4), you must have completed the main quest The Singing Blade - this is the minimum amount of progress to gain access to The Lighthouse in a mostly permanent manner, and then you actually have to grab said items.

Once the aforementioned conditions are met, head to the Courtyard and visit the Caretaker’s workshop. There should be a chest along the left side of the Caretaker’s table (north - note that the N7 Day DLC is in a chest to the south, if you didn’t redeem that yet). Loot the chest and you’ll obtain the Kirkwall’s Finest cosmetic armor set. Equipping Dragon Age Day DLC¶

Enter the Meditation Chamber in The Library and use your Wardrobe, then select the armor slot. You are, of course, looking for the “Kirkwall’s Finest” transmog, which should be near the top of the list, as is standard for most DLC cosmetics. Just select it and you’ll equip this cosmetic over the default appearance for any and all armor you equip.
