Tactical Armor is a combat talent in Mass Effect 1 which allows the use of Light Armor, unlocks Medium Armor at higher levels, increases damage protection and also unlocks the Shield Boost ability. Tactical Armor is available from the start for Infiltrators and Garrus and can be unlocked by Vanguards later.
