This Assignment takes place during during the core mission in Feros. You’ll need to clear the initial Geth Attack before this Assignment can be accepted.
You’ll find Davin Reynolds in the freighter at Zhu’s Hope.
How to Begin¶
Once you head to Feros to investigate the Geth, you’ll be ambushed by the Geth. Once you’ve driven them away from Zhu’s Hope, you’ll be able to speak to Fai Dan once more to learn more about the colony. Head into the nearby freighter now to find Davin Reynolds who will task you with defeating the Alpha Varren so the colony can source their own meat.
Find Alpha Varren¶
Once accepted, make your way north out of Zhu’s Hope and ignore the elevator to the Prothean Skyway, instead heading to the end of the path and taking the stairs down to the bottom to reach the tunnels. Once there, head right at the first intersection, head through the first passageway and then at the second intersection, go west to enter the Collapsed Highway Section where a short scene will introduce the Varren.

You’ll be ambushed straight after so have your Biotics ready to hopefully disable them and move back to the entrance to this room, the Varren won’t attack if you’re standing there. Shotguns work well here, the Varren are quick and often charge you before your Biotics have recharged. Once they’re defeated, make your way back to Zhu’s Hope to deliver the news to Davin and complete the Assignment.
