There are many types of resources you can gather while exploring the Western Frontier which can be used for crafting better equipment or donated to the various clans in order to complete their respective favor quests. The Frillstem Cone is one of the rarest in the game, especially if you need an Exquisite variant. You’ll also find that you need this material for the Refuge Contribution Quest, but it can only be found in the late-game area of the Clouded Forest. On this page, we’ll guide you through the necessary steps for finding Exquisite Frillstem Cones.

Where to Find Frillstem Cone in Avatar¶
Frillstem Cone is one of the resources that will require you to play through a large chunk of the game’s main story until you gain access to the third region, Clouded Forest. However, the Clouded Forest is a large area and you won’t have your Ikran when you first arrive in it, so we recommend that you progress a little further to regain access to your Ikran. You can find Frillstem Cones attached to the bottom of Fillstem Trees which are commonly found within the Giant’s Wilderness biome of the Clouded Forest.
How to Get Superior and Exquisite Frillstem Cone in Avatar¶
We’ve managed to track down many Fine and Exquisite Frillstem Cones on a small island that is situated between The River’s Eye and Weary Swamp within the Crimson Great Wood sub-region. More specifically, northeast of the Resting Tree Lab Resistance Field Lab. If you wish to keep your Frillstem Cone in pristine condition, then you’ll want to pull the analog stick down when you attempt to harvest it.

What is Frillstem Cone Used for in Avatar?¶
Once you’ve gained access to all three regions, you’ll start encountering tougher enemies that can deal a lot more damage, so you’ll want to start crafting gear with much higher defense to increase your survivability. However, crafting better pieces of equipment will require rarer materials, such as Frillstems Cones. Additionally, Frillstem Cone is an item that you’ll need for the Refuge Clan Contribution Side Quest.
