This is a guide for Chapter 5: The Skirmish in the Fog in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, this page focusing on the Extra Quest, A Grave Threat, in the Western Erebus Territory.
This battle is an Extra Quest, which is only available for a limited time on the map, and is designated by the clashing swords icon. For every region you capture on the world map, the Extra Quest counter will decrease and when it reaches zero, it will disappear. Simply highlight the Surveying Spot with the icon, where you will get a choice between the Extra Quest and Surveying Spot. These Extra Quests are great to do, as you will likely encounter a lot of Demonic Beasts, which in turn, means you can get a lot of great weapons to farm from them. Note that after completing the Extra Quests, you will not be able to replay them via the Record Keeper at your base.
How to S Rank A Grave Threat¶
Completion Time | Enemies Defeated | Damage Taken |
---|---|---|
07:00 | 200 | 30% |
At first, you may be wondering how you’re going to get 200 kills, as there’s only two Monsters on the battlefield. However, not too long into the battle, a bunch of reinforcements will appear, human enemies, so that is how you’re going to do it. The best thing to do is get your 200 kills, then head straight for the two Monsters, utilizing their weaknesses to make quick work of them for the easy S Rank.
Mission 1: Defeat the Golem and Allies¶
There is only a single Main Mission during this fight, which is to defeat the Golem and Demon Beast. They are the only two enemies on the field at the beginning, but not too long into the battle, a bunch of normal enemies will appear. This is how you will be able to reach those 200 kills necessary for the S Rank. The best thing to do at the start is fight the Demon Beast, as it only has two life bars, and will be weak to Swords, Axes, Bows, and Ice. Concentrate on the Demon Beast and get rid of it, then turn your attention to the Archer and friends, racking up your 200 kills.
Once you’re done with that, quickly switch over your other allies that will likely be fighting the Golem. This is a new Monster you haven’t faced before, but it’s not really any different than the Demonic Beast. It’s a little more mobile, but the same rules as all other Monsters apply here. The Golem will have three life bars, though, and a different set of weaknesses (Axes, Gauntlets, Tomes, and Lightning). Be on the lookout for the areas where it will unleash its attacks, and dodge appropriately. Once both of the Monsters are finished, you will be victorious.
