This page explains how to unlock Advanced and Master Classes in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
As you progress and your characters master their classes, you’ll probably reach a wall when trying to class-change from Intermediate to Advanced classes. What you must do is expand the Training Grounds.
How to Expand the Training Grounds¶
While speaking to the Training Grounds instructor, choose “Expand Facility” near the bottom. Or speak to the Facility Master and choose to upgrade the Training Grounds. Both will take you to the same screen.
If you haven’t already done so, perform the initial upgrade, Install a Training Dummy. You will need:
- Crude Building Material x10
- 500 G
By this point, you should have plenty.
Next, select the 2nd upgrade along the 4th column (beginning from the left), which is Advanced Class Certification Exam. To complete this upgrade, you’ll require the following:
- Quality Building Material x10
- Veteran Training Gear x10
- 1,500 G
The earliest opportunity you can obtain the necessary materials is from Chapter 7 in all routes. On the war map, complete the first battle, then search the surveying spots to get Quality Building Material x41 and Veteran Training Gear x30. Which is more than you need for this particular upgrade.
That will unlock Advanced Classes; the next upgrade to the right will unlock Master Classes. For this, you’ll need to cough up:
- Lavish Building Material x10
- Elite Training Gear x10
- 2,000 G
Right now, we’re looking into where these can be found.
How to Change to Advanced or Master Classes¶
After performing the relevant upgrade, you will gain access to Advanced and/or Master Classes. This is indicated by the padlock symbol disappearing from the leftmost column, where it displays the class tier. From here, it’s business as normal. So be sure to master the pre-requisite class and provide the required exam seal.
For Advanced Classes, an Advanced Seal is needed. Meanwhile, for Master Classes, a good old Master Seal will do the trick.
You can obtain these from completing battles, surveying spots or by purchasing them from the Item Shopkeeper (limited stock). Advanced Seals will start appearing from Chapter 7 and onwards. For Master Seals, we’ll update this page once we’ve progressed further.
