Mission 24: The Plate of Snowpoint Temple

By
Vincent Lau

This is a guide for Mission 24: “The Plate of Snowpoint Temple” in Pokémon Legends: "Arceus" IconArceus (PLA).

How to Start Mission 24

(1 of 2) Snowpoint Temple contains an unresolved mystery.

You’ll receive Mission 24 (along with four other missions) after speaking to Cogita during the postgame mission “The Researcher of Myths”. This mission requires you to pay another visit to Snowpoint Temple at Alabaster Icelands.

1. Enter Snowpoint Temple

As a reminder, Snowpoint Temple is located near the north-east corner of Alabaster Icelands. To get there easily, we suggest fast-traveling to the Pearl Settlement, then use Sneasler to scale the northern cliffs.

(1 of 2) You may have noticed this dead end during your first visit.

Inside the temple, head forward while keeping towards the left like during your first trip. But instead of going up the steps directly ahead, turn right and follow the other corridor, where there’s a dead end. When you approach the dead end, Adaman and Sabi will come over.

If you have the Stone Plate, Iron Plate and Icicle Plate, the door will open, revealing a new passageway. At this point, you’ll already have the Stone Plate from Mission 20 and the Icicle Plate from Mission 12. Meanwhile, the Iron Plate is obtained from Mission 22. Waiting at the end of the passageway is an inactive "Regigigas" IconRegigigas; get up close to reawaken it!

Legendary Pokémon

(1 of 2) Regigigas seems annoyed that you disturbed its slumber.

Abilities don’t exist in this game, but Regigigas somehow still retains its Slow Start, which halves its Attack and Speed stats for 5 turns.

Ghost-types are recommended to stop Regigigas from using Crush Grip and Giga Impact. However, they’ll need non-Ghost moves to hit Regigigas. Avoid the "Gastly" IconGastly line because Regigigas knows Zen Headbutt.

If you’re confident though, you can simply rely on your usual hard-hitters. Take advantage of Regigigas’s 5 turn lull to quickly pile on the damage. You may even catch it before Slow Start wears off.

(1 of 2) The Blank Plate turns Arceus into the Normal-type.

After catching the titan, you’ll receive a never-before-seen plate, the Blank Plate. Thus ends the mission.
