Request 89: The Diamond Clan’s Treasure.

You can only access this request once you’ve completed the main story. Once you’ve done so, you’ll find Adaman on the northwest edge of Lake Valor, just northeast of Diamond Settlement in Crimson Mirelands. He’ll challenge you to a battle!

How to Beat Adaman¶

Adaman will send out three level 32 Eevee evolutions: Leafeon, Umbreon and Vaporeon. You’ll have to battle all three at once. Your best bet is to send out Pokémon who have moves at are effective against each of Adaman’s Pokémon, and defeat them one at a time. Below you’ll find tables of weaknesses and resistances for each one so you know which moves to utilise to your advantage and which to avoid.

It is important to note that you might bring out a Pokémon that’s super effective against one of the Eevee evolutions but is weak to one of the other Eevee evolution’s moves, meaning your Pokémon might get chunked or even one-shot. Make sure to bring potions and revives and plan your party accordingly! Luckily this fight isn’t challenging because his Eevee evolutions are a lot lower level than you should be around the end of the game (Around Level 50-70) so anything you send out will likely be of a higher level.

Adaman Battle Reward¶

Once you’ve successfully defeated Adaman’s Eevee Evolutions, you’ll be rewarded x1 Adamant Crystal and x3 Comet Shard. The Adamant Crystal is used to change Dialga’s form!
