What are Base Camps?¶
Base Camps will serve as your outpost when you head out into the wild to search for Pokémon. They’ll serve as your own personal Pokémon Center, where you’ll be able to rest and recover your Pokémon.
In addition to acting like a Pokémon Center, you’ll also be able to craft items to help you on your excursion.

What is Crafting in Arceus?¶
Crafting is a new mechanic being introduced to the Pokémon franchise in Pokémon Legends: ARCEUS. You’ll be able to collect items to make tools, balms and Pokéballs. Balms can be used to calm frenzied Pokémon.
Not a whole lot of information has been given on the types of materials you can collect, but you’ll be able to pick up materials dropped by Pokémon such as rock material dropped by the new Pokémon, Kleavor.
It has been confirmed that Pokéballs can be crafted from an Apricorn and a Tumblestone. Crafting can be done on workbenches, which can be found at Base Camps or in Jubilife Village.
