Request 20: The Mysterious Will-o’-the-Wisp.

This quest is picked up from Paira, found on Canala Avenue in Jubilife Village. She’ll ask you to go check out a mysterious Will-o’-the-Wisp on Windswept Run in Obsidian Fieldlands.

Where to Find the Mysterious Will-o’-the-Wisp¶

To find the Will-o’-the-Wisp, you’ll first have to make sure it’s evening/night time in Obsidian Fieldlands. You can change the time of day by resting at the tent in any camp. Since Windswept Run is west of Heights Camp, we recommend you start your excursion there to save time.

For a more precise location of the Will-o’-the-Wisp, activate the request in the request tab. When you reach the marker on the map, you’ll be prompted to investigate the tree. You’ll then discover that the Will-o’-the-Wisp is actually a Chimchar! You’ll be forced to catch it during a battle - make sure you don’t defeat it as you need to take it back to show Paira.

When you show Paira back in Jubilife Village, you’ll earn yourself x2 Exp. Candy S.
