Black Myth: Wukong is an Action RPG based on the classic novel “Journey to the West” and its Game Science first attempt at a big budget title. It has a content on offer and you may be wondering how long it’ll take to beat.
How Long is Black Myth: Wukong?¶
The game consists of six chapters and although this may not sound like a lot, each chapter has multiple large areas to explore and these feature an abundance of content, such as Secret Bosses like the Elder Jinchi which requires you to track down hidden bells throughout chapter 1, hidden side quests like The Man in Stone Quest in Chapter 2. There are also lots of unique items to find, so we recommend checking out every knock and cranny of the areas to ensure you don’t miss anything.
Players that are striving for 100% completion, then you’ll be glad to know that despite the lack of having replaying chapters, there aren’t any missable items as you can easily backtrack to previous regions via the shrine. Black Myth: Wukong isn’t open world nor is it linear, as each area gives you multiple paths you can take which offers unique things to see and do, so if you’re focusing on the main story and you’re skilled enough to first try the majority of the bosses, then we think you can beat the game in around the 50 hour mark. However, if you choose to fully explore, complete all bosses, quests and try to secure all 36 trophies, then you’re most likely looking at around 80-100 hours.
