Top 5 Spirits in Black Myth: Wukong¶
As mentioned above there’s a lot of spirits in the game (55 to be exact), but we believe the following to the best:
Wandering Wight¶
Rarity | Skill | Equip Bonus |
---|---|---|
Epic | Faithful Kowtow: Take the form of Wandering Wight. Bow utmost devotion and ram the foe with your bronze skull, dealing massive damage. | Significantly Increases Defense. |
The Wandering Wight is a spirit we’ve used for the majority of the game and it can be obtained by defeating the boss near the Outside the Forest shrine in the Forest of Wolves area. This Spirit is a good option for those who aren’t as confident at the game, as it increases your defense so you can take more hits and the spirit deals tons of damage and stuns the opponent which is incredibly useful against quick moving bosses.
Tiger’s Acolyte¶
Rarity | Skill | Equip Bonus |
---|---|---|
Epic | Sharp Edge: Take the form of Tiger’s Acolyte. Draw near the foe in a flash and hack them with a sword, dealing with a single instance of damage. | Moderately Increases Critical Damage. |
The Tiger’s Acolyte can be obtained by defeating the boss on a long bridge near the Windrest Hamlet shrine in the Yellow Wind Formation area. This Spirit is a good candidate for aggressive players, as it increases your critical damage which means you can take down enemies quicker and the quickness of the spirit itself means you’ll deal lots of damage in a short amount of time.
Guangmou¶
Rarity | Skill | Equip Bonus |
---|---|---|
Epic | Veiled Vipers: Take the form of Guangmou. Call forth snakes to spit venom upon foes and inflict Poison Damage. The snakes will slither away once their venom is depleted | Moderately Increases Poison Damage and Resistance. |
Guangmou can be obtained by defeating the boss near the Snake Trail Shrine in the Bamboo Grove area. This Spirit will poison the opponent and damage them over time, so this is a good option for battles against major bosses as they have a lot of HP. Additionally, it gives you moderate Poison Resistance which will be incredibly useful in the Webbed Hollow as a lot of the enemies have poison based attacks.
Earth Wolf¶
Rarity | Skill | Equip Bonus |
---|---|---|
Epic | Wild Rapture: Take the form of Earth Wolf. Recklessly charge straight at the foe to make them stumble | Grants a small amount of additional Focus on hit. |
Earth Wolf can be obtained by defeating the boss near the Village Entrance shrine in the Sandgate Village area. You’ll find it in an open area in the middle of the nearby village. You primarily want this spirit for its passive ability, as it’ll allow you to generate focus points much faster which means you can use heavy attacks more often which deals tons of damage.
Verdant Glow¶
Rarity | Skill | Equip Bonus |
---|---|---|
Rare | Verdant Arbor: Absorb the essence of nature to recover Health continuously. The healing effect is enhanced when in water. | Slowly recovers a small amount of Health |
Verdant Glow can be obtained by defeating the Lushleaf enemy that’s glowing near the Valley of Blooms shrine in the secret Purple Cloud Mountain area. If you’re confident at dodging attacks and take lots of damage/use up your Gourd, then this Spirit is a good choice for you, as it’ll gradually regenerate health throughout the battle.
