Like most action RPG’s, you can find, craft, and upgrade Weapons in Black Myth: Wukong. There are a total of 21 Weapons in the game, some of which are upgraded, others that are unlocked by finding a specific material, normally from a boss. Each Weapon comes with it’s own unique passive skill that enhances one of your skills, or increases a specific stat.
They come in six rarities, which are Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical with some of the higher tiers requiring you to do specific quests to acquire them. Read on to find out how you can unlock all Weapons in Wukong.

How to Craft Weapons¶
Crafting is done at any Shrine once you’ve acquired the recipe. This won’t be available to you until you get the Twin Serpents Staff recipe upon defeating the
Whiteclad Noble boss in Chapter 1. As you progress through the game and unlock more recipes, you’ll either unlock an upgrade to an existing weapon tree, or you’ll unlock a new weapon tree altogether.
To find the upgrades, expand a weapon (some can’t be upgraded), select the upgrade, and you’ll find what materials you need to craft it. Some materials will be shown as ???? but you can check the weapon in the lists below to find out what they are. Once you have the recipe, the required materials, and the currency for it, you can craft the weapon.
(1 of 4) At a Shrine, select “Craft” followed by “Craft Weapons”.
Common Weapon Locations¶
There’s only the one Common Weapon in Wukong, and that’s the weapon you start with, the Willow Wood Staff. As you begin to unlock more weapons, some of them will branch off from the staff.
Uncommon Weapon Locations¶
The first upgrade to the Willow Wood Staff is the Twin Serpents Staff, which is obtainable in Chapter 1 after defeating one of the main bosses. The second weapon is only obtainable if you purchased the Deluxe Edition of the game.

That’s all 21 Weapons obtainable in Wukong. It’s a relatively simple crafting system where the better weapons will be unlocked in the later chapters. The majority of the material will be obtained by defeating main bosses, side bosses who are often part of a side quest, or from regular enemies.
The materials from the bosses are a 100% drop rate while the lesser materials have a chance to drop, although some of these can be purchased at the Shrine Stores or in the Chests scattered throughout the world.
