Black Myth: Wukong is an Action RPG which features lots of bosses, but a lot of them are optional and well hidden. On this page, we’ll provide you with the locations of all 11 bosses in Chapter 1.

Where to Find All Chapter 1 Bosses¶

As mentioned above, there are 11 bosses scattered around the Black Wind Mountain and their locations can be found below!

Bullguard Boss Location¶

The Bullguard can be found by starting from the Front Hills Shrine which is the first shrine in the game and follow the path until you reach the Forest of Wolves area, then hug the right wall to reach the boss. Defeating this boss will reward you with the Immobilize Spell.

Wandering Wight Boss Location¶

The Wandering Wight can be found by starting from the Outside the Forest Shrine, but instead of heading left, continue following the path along to the right. Guangzhi Boss Location¶

Guangzhi can also be found by starting from the Outside the Forest Shrine and following the path ahead until you reach a fork in the path, then take the left path to find the boss at the end of the path across the bridge. Defeating this boss will reward you with the Red Tides Spell.

Lingxuzi Boss Location¶

Lingxuzi is the second mandatory boss and it can be found by starting at the Guanyin Temple Shrine and heading up the nearby stairs. Defeating this boss will reward you with the Grey Wolf Mask.

Baw-Li-Guhh-Lange Boss Location¶

Baw-Li-Guhh-Lange can be found by starting at the Snake Trails Shrine and heading up the stairs and bridge, then drop down into the stream to the right of the path. Defeating this boss will allow you to consume its Baw-Li-Guhh-Lange Spirit.

Guangmou Boss Location¶

Guangmou is the third mandatory boss that can be found by starting at the Snake Trails Shrine and following the path around until you reach a large open area, then look for a small opening on the opposite side. Defeating this boss will reward you with the Blood of the Iron Bull and Guangmou Spirit.

Whiteclad Noble Boss Location¶

Whiteclad Noble is the fourth mandatory boss which can be found by starting at the Marsh of the White Mists Shrine and walking down to the bottom of the wooden pathway. Elder Jinchi Boss Location¶

Elder Jinchi can be found in the Ancient Guinyan Temple which is the secret area in chapter 1 and this can only be reached by ringing bells throughout the Black Wind Mountain. Defeating this boss will reward you with the Fire Mantle Vessel and you can craft the Bronze Monkey Armor Set. Black Wind King Boss Location¶

Black Wind King can be found in the room directly in front of the Cave Interior Shrine which is located in the area behind the Whiteclad Noble. Defeating this boss will reward you with the Cloud Step Spell.

Black Bear Guai Boss Location¶

The Black Bear Guai is the final boss of chapter and it can be found by starting at the Bohdi Peak Shrine and heading up to the top of the stairs. If you’re looking for some guidance on how to defeat this opponent, then check out our Black Bear Guai Boss Guide.

Red Loong Boss Location¶

Red Loong can be found by starting at the Outside the Forest Shrine and then make your way into the waterfall which is reached by going left at the first fork in the path. However, you’ll need to obtain Loong Scales before you can face him and this is obtained by breaking a wall with the Wandering Wight Spirit in a cave where you fight the First Prince of the Flowing Sands in chapter 2. Defeating this boss will reward you with a Thunder Tail, Boshan Censer and Loong Pearl.
