Description¶

The Gift is one of the first few Side Jobs that you’ll acquire after completing The Rescue. This job takes you to a Netrunner who is stationed in Kabuki, where you’ll acquire your first new Quickhack, “Ping”.

Retrieve the Ping Quickhack from the Netrunner¶

Once you’ve acquired the Side Job from T-Bug, grab a vehicle and travel to the Netrunner who is located in Kabuki. Here you’ll want to speak with Yoko to purchase the Ping Quickhack for €$0.

With the Quickhack in your possession, go to your inventory via the menu, then select Cyberdeck and equip it. From here, look to the left of the counter and hold [L1/LB] whilst looking at the camera, then click “Ping” to find the access point. Finally, interact with the access point by pressing [Square/X] and then look at the code matrix and pick the two numbers shown on the right to complete the hack.
